Indoor Facilities

Our children enjoy spacious classrooms and a range of communal learning areas including library, computing room and small intervention spaces.

Plenty of space!

Parkside Community Primary was purpose-built in 1990.  Over the years following it has benefitted from a wide range of improvements both small and large.

Each classroom has direct access to the outdoors, allowing learning to easily happen both inside and out! In addition, each classroom is equipped with both visualisers and interactive whiteboards to support learning and children can access additional learning spaces in our wide corridor areas.

We highly value the importance of a well resourced and modern learning environment.  This is reflected in our ongoing investment in our facilities, ensuring our pupils benefit from a school environment that delivers every opportunity for them to learn successfully.

Multi-use spaces

Our large central area is used as a dedicated ICT and computing suite. It also houses our library and cooking area. This space is ideal for hosting our Breakfast and After School club from.

In addition, we recently completed our most recent project: The Cabin.  This building can comfortably seat 20 children and facilitates both small group intervention and specialist teaching.

Small-group spaces

We have a range of dedicated areas within the school for small group work, interventions, music lessons and quiet reading.
