Hi, my name is Marion Tooze and I have worked at Parkside for over twenty years. It really is a great place to be, with every day being different, fun and full of learning. I love teaching all the subjects, but have a particular passion for art and maths. You will often find me with an apron on, covered in paint, ink or clay!
I teach Year 4 (The Independent Iguanas). We learn about so many different things it would be tricky to list them all. Some highlights include, Rivers and Mountains, Anglo Saxons and Vikings, Ancient Egyptians, Sound, Weaving, online safety and electrical circuits. We also go swimming, go on local walks and take part in Forest school.
We love to learn outside, especially when the weather is nice, taking advantage of our lovely school grounds. We take part in exercise everyday to wake up our brains as well as exercise our bodies. In Year 4 we also become Times Table Rockstars, which is a fantastic challenge that we work on all year.
Year 4 is the second class in Key stage 2 and it really is a great class to be in.
