Year 4

Welcome from the class teacher

Hi, my name is Natalie Sherlock and I am the Year 4 teacher at Parkside. I have been at Parkside since 2019 and I love it - there are always so many fantastic opportunities to get involved in. It is amazing to see how the children change and grow during Year 4 as they become more established in key stage 2. I love being able to teach all subjects, but I particularly enjoy music where we can get the instruments out and really express ourselves! 

Over the year we learn about so many fun things: the Anglo-Saxons, Vikings, food and the digestive system, sound, electrical conductors and circuits to name a few. Best of all, we become masters of all the times tables which really helps with all aspects of maths. We also go swimming, take part in forest school and learn how to ride a bike safely. Year 4 is a fantastic year and we have so much fun!
